Warranty
Craft-Art Direct wood countertops are natural products. As with all natural products, the variation seen in nature is reflected in Craft-Art Direct countertops. We view this variation as an intrinsic aspect of their beauty.
The limited warranty extends only to the original purchaser of Craft-Art Direct products, includes only direct Craft-Art Direct product costs, and excludes consequential damage or expenses.
Installation and Maintenance
This limited warranty applies to Craft-Art Direct tops that are installed and maintained in the manner recommended in Craft-Art Direct's installation and maintenance instructions.
Design and Manufacturing
Craft-Art Direct guarantees the workmanship on every manufactured wood top. Each top will conform to the specifications provided by the customer, as described in the signed quotation, templates, and shop drawings. Craft-Art Direct will, at its option, correct or replace without charge products that do not meet these specifications.
Glue Seams
In the event that any glue seams fail, Craft-Art Direct warrants to the original purchaser that Craft-Art Direct will, at its option, repair the failed seams or replace the product, without charge.
Water and Stain Damage
There is no express or implied warranty with respect to water or stain damage. Craft-Art Direct products, as delivered, are waterproof and will remain so if oiled in accordance with Craft-Art Direct's maintenance instructions. Our products are also resistant to all food substances that typically cause stains.
Color/Graining
All natural wood changes color over time. Color change is caused by exposure to light and air (oxidation). Color changes vary by wood specie. Color changes are expected and are not considered defects. Differences in grain orientation can also cause color differences. Changes in color, color variation, mineral streaks, small pieces of figure, knots, and filled worm holes may occur naturally in wood countertops and are not defects.
Wood Movement
Craft-Art Direct countertops, like all solid wood products, expand and contract with changes in temperature, humidity, and other environmental factors. This expansion and contraction vary by wood specie and local environmental conditions and may cause small changes in the countertop, which are not considered defects.
